This was a new house built around an existing 19c stone barn, the other buildings on the 80acres, including the old stone house were converted into guest houses and an art studio.

In keeping with the look of the stone barn, the exteriors of the additions were kept very simple, stoic to work with the simplicity of the barn. The interiors are threefold : starting with the 19th c. barn and entry, then a large room with 19thc French panelling and finally a master suite wing that is modern in feel.
